Semiconductor Technicians

Exploring This Job

You can develop your interests in computers and microelectronics while in school. Most high schools will be unable to keep up with the rapid advances in electronics technology, and you will need to read and explore on your own. Joining extracurricular clubs in computers or electronics will give you an opportunity for hands-on learning experiences. Joining national science and technology associations such as the Technology Student Association (http://www.tsaweb.org) will also provide useful experience.
