Personal care aides received median annual earnings of $20,980 in May 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Ten percent of aides earned less than $16,910, while the top 10 percent of analysts earned $28,620 or more. Aides received the highest mean annual salaries in the following states: Alaska ($30,860), North Dakota ($30,450), New Jersey ($28,080), Massachusetts ($27,140), and Connecticut ($26,930).
