Investment Banking Sales Brokers


Employment of sales workers, traders, research analysts, and investment bankers has declined by 20 percent since 2010, according to Coalition Ltd., a London-based research firm, as a result of cost-cutting in response to declining industry revenue—especially in the trading sector. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that “certification and a graduate degree, such as a chartered financial analyst certification and a master’s degree in business administration, can improve an applicant’s prospects. For entry-level jobs, having an excellent grade-point average in college is important.”
