Hourly wages for fast food cooks ranged from $7.94 ($16,510 annually for full-time work) for the lowest paid 10 percent to $11.61 ($24,140 annually for full-time work) for the highest paid 10 percent in May 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The median hourly wage for fast food cooks was $9.17 (full-time work at this rate paid $19,080 a year).
