Entry-level pay for dry cleaning and laundry workers is often not much more than minimum wage. The U.S. Department of Labor reported a median hourly wage of $10.01 for dry cleaning and laundry workers in May 2015. This hourly wage translates into a yearly income of roughly $20,820 for full-time work. Earnings ranged from less than $17,260 for the lowest 10 percent to more than $30,950 for the top 10 percent.
