According to the career company Glassdoor, acquisitions librarians earned salaries that ranged from $26,000 to $71,000 or more in 2014. The U.S. Department of Labor reports that the median annual salary for all librarians in May 2014 was $56,170. The lowest 10 percent earned $33,680 or less, and the top 10 percent earned $87,060 or more. Most acquisitions librarians receive paid vacation time, holiday pay, compensated sick leave, various insurance plans, and retirement savings programs.
