Our Mission

Vault’s mission is to provide candidates with the career intelligence they need to research professions and evaluate potential employers. Workplace diversity represents a key component of that research. Vault diversity and inclusion resources include annual employer rankings and profiles, frequent articles and blog posts, and a comprehensive law firm diversity database. We strive to enable all candidates to meet their career goals as well as to help employers increase transparency and foster inclusive work environments as they seek to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent.

Diversity Rankings

Our annual industry surveys, in which thousands of employees offer candid assessments of their work lives, include questions specifically addressing employers’ commitment to diversity and inclusion. Vault rankings spotlight firms that receive the highest ratings from their own employees for overall diversity, as well as diversity specifically with respect to minorities, women, those who identify as LGBTQ, and individuals with disabilities.

Law Firm Diversity Database

Updated annually from responses to the Vault/MCCA Law Firm Diversity Survey, our Diversity Database contains more than 10 years of benchmarking information about the diversity programs at 200+ law firms. The database includes detailed demographics for each law firm, as well as information about recruitment, promotion, and retention initiatives.
