- Small Firm Feel. Big Firm Results.
As a national law firm with 950 attorneys, Fox Rothschild is resourceful and entrepreneurial, large enough to focus robust resources on matters of major significance, but nimble enough to pivot when circumstances change or opportunities arise. We give our lawyers a national stage and equip them with the tools they need to nurture innovation and drive success. Yet within each of our offices, you will find a close-knit camaraderie with colleagues and a culture that embraces charitable acts and community service to residents and organizations within the local region.
- Discover Your Niche. Shape Your Future.
Fox Rothschild provides its legal professionals with all the support needed to grow a book of business and hone technical and legal skills. You will receive an array of professional development opportunities, engaging and informative training programs and meaningful and insightful evaluations that promote your career growth. And with more than 70 practice areas – from cannabis law to construction, entertainment and sports to data privacy and security – there are abundant avenues you can explore as you carve out your career path.
Inclusive and Diverse. A Welcoming Workplace.
Successfully serving our clients and providing the caliber of legal services they have come to expect from us requires the teamwork of professionals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. But that is often not enough. We must be an active participant in a world that is for everyone and in which no one’s humanity is determined by the color of their skin. In 2020, we appointed a Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, who with the full backing and support of firm leadership, is developing and implementing programs and policies that support our goals of increasing and promoting a diverse workforce and inclusive environment at all levels throughout the firm. We launched a comprehensive firmwide initiative to help address systemic racial oppression, making monetary contributions to the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and The Innocence Project and partnering with organizations throughout the country as part of a pro bono program to assist and support Black communities. Through this new program, attorneys can work with Black-owned businesses and assist individuals with legal issues related to criminal justice and housing as well as social and criminal justice reform and assistance, racial equity and more.
At Fox Rothschild, we are also proud of our perfect score on the 2019 and 2020 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. Not only have we been designated a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality, but Working Mother magazine also named us among the Best Law Firms for Women six times in total, including three consecutive years. We were cited for our promotion of women, representation of women in leadership positions and flexibility for mothers re-entering the workforce, placing us at the forefront of firms in the retention and advancement of women lawyers. In addition, we welcomed our first class of fellows in the summer of 2020 who participated in the Fox Rothschild 1L Diversity Fellowship Program.
- Health and Wellness. A Focal Point.
As a signatory of the American Bar Association’s Pledge for Well-Being, Fox Rothschild takes a holistic approach to the promotion of employee health and well-being.
